Our collective history is composed of individual stories that are woven together to create the greater fabric of our lives. Individual challenges, successes, and experiences become ripples that affect people and events - often across time and distance. Stories of/from women span the unsung to the iconic, the unknown to the monumental, and include every aspect of our culture.
In celebration of National Women’s History Month and in concert with the founding principles of The Ebell of Los Angeles, “A Woman’s Place” gathers works from Los Angeles County artists that center the women, past and present, who have touched our lives in countless ways.
The Ebell of Los Angeles invites all Los Angeles County visual artists to submit work for this juried exhibition "A Woman's Place" at the historic Ebell of Los Angeles, 743 South Lucerne Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90005, on view from March 21 to April 30, 2024.
One artist will be awarded a one-year membership in The Ebell of Los Angeles.
