nurse4dd(Wang) eared the MFA degree from the University of Florida this summer, and earned the BFA from the School of Art Institute of Chicago in 2020. nurse4dd is working on an interdisciplinary direction to explore drawing, sculptural and time-based presentation of the traumatic relationship between an individual and its environment. nurse4dd’s works investigate symbolism of combined features of human and animal body to present the trauma, repression, ideological struggle, animality, and self-contradiction in the context of an individual's social and political background.Their works also explores the similarities between the current situation for animal regulations that are in the slaughterhouse and assembly line, or animals that's almost extinguished, and marginalized individuals in exile from their own community.
