RevArt is excited about an exhibition at the Guild Gallery in downtown Charlottesville that will be open to the public from May 6th to July 15th, 2022. This exhibition, The Memories Won’t Fade Away, showcases the work of three upcoming artists, Brittany Fan, Lucy “Clare” Spooner, and Lauchlan Davis, who all recently graduated from the University of Virginia. Each artist took this last year to reflect on their time in Charlottesville, Virginia while being a student at UVA, showing their fond memories of people and places through their various paintings. While all artists take a unique approach in representing their memories, all show their fondness for the university and their times there. From painting series of the Rotunda to depictions of the country roads that border the college-town, this exhibition really demonstrates what it means to be an UVA alum.
